Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After refreshing, begin your sightseeing tour of Addis Ababa with a drive up to Mount Entoto for a panoramic view of the city. Descend and visit the National Museum, where you will have a chance to see the fossil remains of ‘Lucy,’ the oldest known hominid. Continue to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, built during WWII, and proceed to the Ethnographic Museum, formerly the palace of Emperor Haile Selassie. Conclude your day with a visit to Merkato, the largest open-air market in East Africa.

After breakfast, drive to Goba with a stop at Dinsho, the headquarters of Bale Mountains National Park. Here you may encounter endemic species such as the Mountain Nyala and Menelik’s Bushbuck. Enjoy the scenic journey through highland landscapes before arriving in Goba.

Today, embark on an excursion to the Sanetti Plateau, the highest plateau in Africa. With some luck, you may spot the endemic Ethiopian Wolf hunting for its prey in the alpine meadows. Continue to the Harenna Forest, Ethiopia’s second-largest forest, known for its lush vegetation, towering trees, and rich biodiversity. Enjoy the cool mountain air and serene beauty before returning to Goba.

After breakfast, leave Goba and drive to Wendo Genet, where you can relax in the natural hot springs surrounded by lush vegetation. The area is also excellent for birdwatching. After lunch, continue to Yirgalem, passing through coffee and fruit-growing regions filled with beautiful greenery. Arrive at Aregash Lodge, a natural retreat of harmony and charm, where traditional bamboo-thatched tukuls reflect the local Sidama culture. After breakfast, drive south to Hawassa and visit the local fish market on the shores of Lake Hawassa. Take a short boat ride to spot hippos and water birds before continuing to Lake Langano. After breakfast, drive back to Addis Ababa, stopping en route at Lake Ziway, the largest of the Upper Rift Valley lakes, known for its water lilies and abundant birdlife. Experience the famous Ethiopian coffee ceremony before being transferred to the airport for your departure.
